Holy cow! Has it really been 25 years?I found this awesome quote from someone reminiscing about their memories of the venerable old console on Kotaku.
"I used to play Mario and Zelda with my brother and my dad all the time. My dad might have been more obsessed with Zelda than we were. I must have been in kindergarten or first grade, but either way, my mom picked me up from school, and told me that dad was home because he was really sick with the flu. When I got home, I ran to my parents' room to see how he was. He was laying in bed, and could hardly speak, but the first thing he said to me in a barely audible voice was "I beat Zelda."
