I've been playing Minecraft like crazy! I love it!
Here are some pictures of my current game:

There's my home base down there! I made that! :D
Home sweet home.
The pathway to my first mine in this game.
Inside my front door.
A view of that pathway from the top of my home.
Wow! See the waterfall I found?

Coachelletta - Coachella Tilt Shifted
I'm a fan of well done tilt shift photography and videos. Tilt shifting leads to a whimsical effect where things appear to be in miniature and it looks wonderful here in this video created at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Happy 25th Anniversary NES!
Holy cow! Has it really been 25 years?I found this awesome quote from someone reminiscing about their memories of the venerable old console on Kotaku.
"I used to play Mario and Zelda with my brother and my dad all the time. My dad might have been more obsessed with Zelda than we were. I must have been in kindergarten or first grade, but either way, my mom picked me up from school, and told me that dad was home because he was really sick with the flu. When I got home, I ran to my parents' room to see how he was. He was laying in bed, and could hardly speak, but the first thing he said to me in a barely audible voice was "I beat Zelda." I'll probably never forget that." - Niraj
Giant Muffin Brawlers - pixel art animation
Behold the Giant Muffin Brawlers!
From the video description:
"This was made for a college assignment in about 50 hours. We had to make a ~40 seconds video with the subject of our choice, using adobe After Effects. I made mine in pixel art because, heh its what I do...
After effects and pixel art dont really mix so well though, had quite a bit of problems with that. Like it doesnt seem to take indexed color images well for one, so I had to go through every animation frame and convert them individually every time I wanted to change a detail.
Also note that, made in after effect, this is not "pure" pixel art by any means: After effects does motion blurring and a lot of other things that I didnt have to do manually, and there's also a mix in resolutions there.
But I really like the result! It looks pretty darn neat I think!
Also, the main character of the video is a friend of mine, Michael Émond. He was originally going to work on the video with me, but we later decided to work on our own videos separately instead."

Cheetahmen 3D by coda
So what does it have to do with the Cheetahmen?
What does it have to do with 3D?
Who cares! It's a sweet 8-bit chiptune! :D
So what are you looking at in the video? Those are how the notes look in a tracker, a common type of computer program for writing chip music.
Check out coda's other work at 8bit Collective here's his profile page: Link

Blue Tooth Bear
I saw this on Gizmodo and after watching the video I realized that if I had to use one of these I'd never be able to take any phone call seriously again. Then again there's no doubt this would be a hit with kids so I'm surprised there aren't tons of them on the market already.

The Cat Piano
Here's an animated short film that's certainly worth your time.
I saw this posted yesterday on io9 and I absolutely loved it. Not only are the artwork and animation quality top notch but the poem that makes up the narrative is really good and the performance of the narrator is spot on. I tried listening to it again without watching the animation and I realized how satisfying the poem itself really is.
Also you can check out the film's official website.

Got Holes In Your Brickwork?
Why not just patch them up with Legos?

Er, well okay apparently these aren't really serious attempts to repair old buildings with Legos but rather some sort of art project. Check out their website and view more photos at Dispatchwork.

8-Bit Trip - Lego Music Video
Legos again so soon? Well after watching this video how could I not post it?
To say this is pretty cool would be one heck of an understatement.
First saw it on Gizmodo.
